Pre-Kindergarten
A couple of dates you need to put on your calendar for this month are:
Sept. 17th Back to School Open House
Sept. 14-18th Book Fair
Sept. 23rd School Pictures
Pictures are usually taken first thing in the morning for the pre-school. We do our best to keep hair combed and clothing neat until that time. If your child stays for Daycare you might want to send a change of clothing along for them.
Our letters for the month:
Aug. 31 Cc # 3
Sept 7th Dd #4
Sept. 14th Review Aa-Dd review # 1-4
Sept. 21st Ee #5
Sept.28th Ff #6
We will introduce the first sight word to learn (my) very shortly.
In Math we will do some graphing, patterning and discuss words of size such as Big, Little, Large, Small and our shape will be square.
Our Jesus Time stories will continue with the Creation story , Adam & Eve, The Flood and the Birth of Isaac.
The children are settling in very well. We have a great class and Very Caring Parents A GREAT COMBINATION.
We do not have any food allergies.

P.S. We will continue to have water play once a week till the weather cools down.
Watch for notices on the door or daycare sign in sheets.
September Update 9-14-09
This will be a busy week!
Monday Book Fair set-up
Tuesday we will be visiting the Book Fair with our chapel buddies. We will be looking and our buddies will be writing down a wish list for their Pre-ker.
Wed. chapel & Library ( please try and remind your student to return their book)
Thurs. OPEN HOUSE 6:30pm The Book Fair will be open at 5:30pm The Hot Dog cart will be serving a meal. Mr. Robson will meet in church at 6:30pm and then the rooms will be open.
FRI WATER PLAY Wear suit and bring towel and water shoes.
In Oct. we will be taking a field trip to the Hall of Flame  and the Pumpkin Patch(Oct.19). We will be looking for chaperones.
