Gethsemane Lutheran School 3rd grader, Jimmy Twombley, recently enjoyed a once in a lifetime experience.
Jimmy and his sister Terryn won the right to caddy for pro golfers at the Waste Management Phoenix Open’s Pro-Am day.
By participating in a fundraiser for the First Tee of Phoenix, both Jimmy and Terryn were two of a small group of young golfers who were part of the fun on the Wednesday at the 16th hole.
Through pure luck Jimmy got to caddy for his two favorite golfers, Tiger Woods and Rickey Fowler.
Jimmy watched as Tiger hit his tee shot into the bunker then put the bunker shot into the stands.
Meanwhile Terryn caddied for Hunter Mahan. The past Phoenix Open Champ let Terryn putt in front of the ruckus capacity crowd. Despite some nerve,s Terryn drained the putt and received a big ovation.
Both Jimmy and Terryn got autographs, golf balls and great memories from their pro golfers on this special day.
Jimmy and Terryn’s exploits were also featured on The List TV Show.
